ICSE Board 2013 exams would be conducted in the month of February & March. The board is not a government board like the CBSE. The curriculum taught in ICSE schools is different from the CBSE curriculum.
The board exams for Class X & Class XII are conducted around the same time as those of Central board exams. The datesheets for both the classes have been announced already. Students can refer to the ICSE timetable 2013 on the official board website. The board exams are planned in a way that they are over by the time the entrances for various undergraduate programs begin.
The ICSE board syllabus is defined by the board. Detailed syllabus for each discipline is available in the schools as well as on the official website. Students can prepare for the board exam using the specific units mentioned in the syllabus.
Once the syllabus is covered, students can next practice using the ICSE sample papers. Sample papaers, guess papers and question papers are easily available online. Students should take as many timed tests as possible. Taking guess papers and practicing with previous question papers would help candidates understanding the ICSE paper pattern and the typical questions. This would help them improve their scores and perform better in the final exams.
ICSE board exam timetable has been announced. Candidates should check their respective class timetables for preparing their revision timetables accordingly.
